Merge branch 'main' into glitch-soc/merge-upstream

Conflicts:
- `app/views/settings/preferences/appearance/show.html.haml`:
  Upstream renamed some helper functions that were used in a part of the
  settings page which glitch-soc slightly changed the layout of.
  Ported the change.
